Orion Luggage is the first luggage company that gives back to it's customers by offering them free roundtrip baggage fees while traveling on Commercial Airlines. Orion pays your roundtrip Baggage fees by becoming the world's first traveling billboard trolley with a front advertising wrap and a back wrap with a personalized touch for every traveler.
Orion allows customers to personalize their own luggage with a graphic that they choose from a number of on-going promotional campaigns throughout the year.
The Orion Luggage Billboard not only travels through Airport terminals, TSA lines, Ticketing and baggage carousels, but also travels via train, bus, cruise line and where customers choose to travel with their own 4 wheel vehicle.
All this being made possible by international, domestic and regional advertisers, promoters, sponsors and marketers. Orion's free luggage two piece set consists of a 21-inch hard-shell carry-on, 4 wheel trolley and a 29-inch hard-shell, 4 wheel trolley. Each set comes with a 2 year warranty. And the Graphics are set into the mold of the plastic and is there for life and is not a stick-on advertising wrap that you see on a bus or car.
Advertisers can wrap up to 1 million or more luggage sets that produce a huge amounts of impressions within a 4-6 week promotional campaign. Campaign sizes are 10K to 1 Million or more. Promotional Campaigns are also geared to trains, cruise ships, buses, ferries, cars and trucks. Essentially whatever form of transportation you travel on, the Orion Mobile Luggage Billboard goes with you.
On-one-side of the Orion Trolley is printed in 3D graphics by a participating Advertiser who could be an Airline, Car Rental company, an Presidential Campaign, A new Fall TV Show, a Hotel Chain, an Online Travel Company, a Cruise Line, a Resort, Military Recruiting, a Mobile Carrier, a large On-Line retail chain, or even famous Amusement Parks. Essentially it's a NASCAR hood that can travel the world in a day! On-the-other-side of the luggage there are brands that want to promote to their customers or win new ones. A whole new way to personalize, again paid for by participating vendors.

Orion TT did a study and it revealed that travelers spend a lot of time in airports, their plane is delayed or canceled sometimes for days based on weather. Most travelers love a set of luggage that they distinguish at the baggage carousel and most customers love to customize their luggage in the same way they do their own phones and mobile devices. It's a win-win for the airlines, the travelers and the marketers. This program is so simple that it makes good sense and it builds customer loyalty all over the world.

Orion is stepping away from traditional marketing thinking and has begun thinking outside- the-box by coming up with a unique form of advertising proponent that creates a whole new marketing model.
Instead of ARPU, CPM, CPI, SRDS, Time based Pricing methods, Price per Page, PPM, PPCT and Social Media Models we are defining a new age in Advertising pricing.
The front and the back of the Hard-shell case times a two (2 piece luggage set). It's a mobile Billboard on 4 wheels traveling, stopping in long lines, going into overhead bins and into the cargo holds of planes, ships, buses, and on trains.
Advertisers, marketers and promoters pay premiums to capture a traveler. 1st of all there are over 1.3 billion people traveling on airplanes per year worldwide. There are another 2 billion who travel via trains and on bus. 38 million travel on a cruise ship via an airplane. Then there are over 2 billion per year who travel in their own 4 wheel vehicle.
Over $15 billion is spent worldwide trying to sell their products to these travelers, not to mention that the travel industry on a worldwide basis is a $60 billion dollar business as well. That does not include the money that is spent on purchasing cars and trucks to get passengers from point a-to-b!
Orion is first to market, has filed for a provisional patent status both domestically and in 5 countries worldwide.
On the advertising side (Front) view there be 5 total advertisers or just one. Ideally, 1 major and 4 smaller partners-much like a NASCAR hood with participating sponsors.
We call this ARPU (Average Revenue per User or unit)-The Telecom Industry now calls it ARPA (Average Revenue per Acquisition or account). In other words defined as the total revenue divided by the number of subscribers or members. Most mobile carriers use this methodology in attracting and keeping a customer for a period of 1-2 years. On average ARPU to keep a customer is usually $500 to as high as $750.00. It costs marketers and promoters a very low dollar figure to get involved with an Orion Campaign.

How do we make money? Advertisers, marketers and promoters pay for the luggage fees by placing their brands on one side of the Orion Mobile luggage Billboard. Customers pay for the shipping from there. Usually $25 for shipping and handling.
Here is where Orion makes money. By a controlled environment. When customers get their luggage delivered to their door. They unzip the luggage and find their luggage full of great gifts paid for by huge marketers across the globe who wish to grab their attention in their own home and sell to them with a soft sell. We call this Product Placement. They place the product in the bag and pay us the PP fee! This is how Orion makes money after we give the luggage away and pay for roundtrip baggage fees.
So, if we have a 1 million luggage set campaign with lets say the US ARMY Recruiting for example and with Warner Brother's Batman vs. Superman for example that could add up to be a great campaign for ORION, for our customers and for our partners. These are just examples for an easy way to explain our program.

On the personalization side Sponsors pay for one large wrap! But its not a wrap what comes first is a design that is molded into the plastic and is there for life. We then send out easy to place on wraps that can be done by a five year old for other campaigns that are run throughout the course of the year.
Also during the year Orion Customers can choose up to 5 more programs to get involved with. Orion sends out the skins per campaign via mail 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the campaign.
Customers also receive a credit card (Membership card) complete with strip. This card is used at the airlines ticketing area to pay for baggage fees going out and coming back to their original destination.
Impressions per day traveling average 3 hours - 24 hours a huge number of fixed eyeballs on the product because of uniqueness. Luggage becomes Conversation Piece at each interval to your destination.
200 - 12,000 Miles in a 24 hour period
We have several challenges to face being the first to giveaway luggage and to pay for baggage fees-finding the inventory to do so and finding the manufactures to do so. Our plans are to rollout with 40-50 campaigns per year. If we rollout with 2 it will be a huge success.
There are literally 500 or so partners who have expressed interest in this revolution. So we are confident that it could be a great way to reach their audiences.
But a economical crisis could occur or a world wide gas crunch or something Mother Nature could do somewhere around the world that could be a hindrance in the success of Orion. We just don't know but we are prepared for anything.
About Gary German, the Founder of Orion
Mr. German has over 25 years experience in all facets of the travel industry starting off as a flight attendant at Continental Airlines then as a travel agent and then within online travel. He has logged at least 250,000 miles or more traveling the world. He has spent over 12 years in the .com space and the last 12 years in the Mobile Phone Entertainment Content and Development space.
He has over 15 years in Entertainment as a national promotions director and as a senior executive in product placement in feature films. He started a very successful movie club in the late 80's. He was very instrumental at the placement of touch screens and video on demand and streaming onto seat backs for many airlines. He also was lucky enough to be involved with music and feature film branding and licensing.

It takes 42-days to manufacturer and ship our luggage sets to our fulfillment facilities here in the US. We go through a rigorous quality control management system that is hands on and in country with all of our manufactures!

When will Orion be available? Our first mobile luggage billboard campaign is set to roll-out in February 2016 with a worldwide announcement to the press. We anticipate 4-10 programs in 2016 and 25-50 in 2017. Our Travel Programs will launch starting in November 2015 throughout 2016.

- Driving versus flying. In 2012, 33 percent of domestic business trips included air travel compared to just 11 percent of leisure trips. Nearly eight in ten (79%) leisure trips were by car compared to less than half (48%) of business trips.
- The average age of leisure travelers is 47.5 years old. Mature travelers comprise 36 percent of leisure travel volume (18% are 65+, 18% are 55-64). Nearly two in ten (19%) are 45-55, 17% are 35-44, 20% are 25-34 and 8% are 18-24 years old.
- The average age for business travelers is 45.9 years old. The majority (26%) are aged 45-54; 20 percent are 55-64; nearly one quarter (24%) are 35-44; 19 percent 25-34 and four percent 18-24 years of age. Only 7 percent are 65+.
- Traveling households earn more than non-traveling households. In 2012, the median household income for domestic leisure travelers was $62,500. For business travelers, the median household income was $87,500. This compares to $52,800 for the general U.S. population.
- Trip planning sources have shifted over the last several years, with social media and mobile devices being used more often. In 2012, nearly one-quarter (23%) of domestic leisure travelers relied on friends and relatives to plan their trips, while three in ten (31%) utilized their own past experiences. One in ten used destination websites, nine percent used traveler provider websites (airline, hotel, rental car, cruise, tours, etc.), five percent used social networking and four percent used a mobile device to help plan their trip.

2nd Phase January 2016 - Our Technology Side
During the second phase in January 2016 Orion will be selling upgraded technology to customers who wish to purchase luggage through our ORION on-line storefront at AMAZON. Customers will have the opportunity to place within their luggage a GPS tracking device that lets customers know where their baggage is at any given moment of their travel log and essentially lets them know through travel alerts on their phone.
Currently we are in the process to create both an IOS and Android phone app that will pinpoint where each set of luggage is. Whether it is lost or placed on a different plane or where it in the process of going to the baggage claim area and lastly on which baggage carousel. Also, Orion offers an onboard alert system that contacts owners via our phone app when their luggage has been opened and tampered with. Orion TT is also working on a onboard system that weighs luggage so customers can know the exact weight before presenting the luggage to a ticketing agent at the airport. It is also working on implementing a onboard charging station for all your devices.
